The first place any new typeface needs to prove itself is in the logo. For this skincare project, I needed a wordmark that felt approachable yet premium. Clarsly Medium stepped up immediately. Because Clarsly is minimalist and modern, but also elegant, it avoided the harshness of some geometric sans serifs while steering clear of the overly decorative trends that date quickly. I typed out the brand name, adjusted the tracking slightly to let the letters breathe, and the result was instant clarity. The medium weight provided enough presence to stand alone as a primary logo without needing heavy bolding or thin hairlines that might disappear on small labels. Using Clarsly Medium for Web Design and Digital Headers

In today’s digital-first world, a font must perform just as well on a retina display as it does on print. I tested Clarsly Medium in a website hero section and as navigation text. Font Pairing Advice and Practical Limitations

No font works in isolation, so I experimented with pairing Clarsly Medium with other styles. Because it is a neutral yet characterful Sans Serif, it pairs beautifully with a classic serif font for a high-end editorial look. Try combining it with a traditional serif for body text to create contrast between modern headlines and traditional reading flow. Alternatively, for a more playful vibe, you might pair it with a handwritten script font for accents, though you should use the script sparingly to avoid clutter. One limitation to note is that while Clarsly Medium is versatile, it may not be the best choice for extremely long-form body text in printed books or dense reports, where a dedicated text face with specific optical adjustments might perform better.
